5-Reps: Hating IG, Getting Better Testimonials, and Changing Stances
Happy 5-Reps Friday!

Here are 2 coaching concepts, 2 business nuggets, and a quote to consider this week.
2 Coaching Concepts
1.

Put into a place a quarterly review system.

Every 3 months, hand your clients a page with three questions:

a) What's one thing I should stop doing?
b) What's one thing I should start doing?
c) What's one thing I should keep doing?

You'll get better and keep your clients longer.

Bonus: If positive, take what they wrote and turn it into a testimonial.
---

2.

Underrated skill: Changing the way a client stands.

Pictured below is the same exercise: A single arm chest fly.

I'm demonstrating it four ways (left to right):
a) Neutral stance.
b) Single leg standing.
c) Kneeling.
d) Half-kneeling.

A question for you to consider today: What's the advantage and disadvantage of each stance?
2 Business Nuggets
1.

You must either embrace social media or don't embrace it.

If you say "I hate it" you're not going to do it well.

It's fine to not use social media. There are other ways to get clients.

It is, however, important to have a social media account.

View it as a business card.

Often people you meet in real life search you online.

This doesn't mean you need to create content to gain new leads.

Instead, you need enough content to showcase yourself positively.

In 2022 you don't have to use social media to gain business. It can't, however lose you business you gain elsewhere.

---

2.

Sell the result, not your process.

Clients don’t care about your plan.

Clients care what they’ll become as a result of your plan.

Only share aspects of your plan if you're able to directly connect them to your client's dream––their transformation.
1 Quote to Consider
"You have one body.

Taking care of it is the single most important thing you must do.

Nothing you can buy matters if your body fails you.

For that reason, the best investment that you could ever make is into your own health and fitness.

Pinch pennies elsewhere."
